MC Zatu (born Saturnino Rey) and DJ Acción Sánchez (born Óscar Sánchez) primitively derived their make from the acronym for the musical musical phrase "Straight from Da Kranny," just later on instituted the revised "Siempre Fuertes de Konciencia," or "Always Strong of Conscience." After a serial of autonomous singles including "Seville Krannz," "Tras Mil Vueltas," and "Esto Va en Serio," SFDK signed to the Zona Bruta label in 1999 to offspring their debut full-length, Siempre Fuertes. The disc received minimum attention, a luck that as well befell its followup, Desde los Chiqueros. Their third LP, 2001 Odisea en el Lodo, proved the commercial and decisive turning point, and in the awaken of its chart breakthrough SFDK toured Spain, followed by appearances in Chile and the U.S. The duette formed their eponymic tag in advance of the liberation of 2005, which batty the Spanish Top Five. Los Veteranos followed deuce long time later.
